people people :D haha it has been quite some time since i updated! hahaha lazyy :D anyway, had our very first perfomance as MAD just a few hours ago at SMU dance showcase. it felt rather different cause i was like thinking of glitters when we all performed as one nymd. haha how things change right. anyway at the starting things were really getting boring and draggy, those dry runs and stage blocking and stuff. what more with such a small stage. so we waited, did makeup and costume which was like the simplest costume we ever put on. haha compared to hfos and glitters:) yeah then in the end wow once we see the audience it was like magic. the people the crowd. not that there were alot of people since we were like dancing in the studio. but just the presence of people. PEOPLE. oh man hahaha then everyone was like wow this is the thing man and really did their best:)) it felt good. the power of the audience! jiayi and i were saying it had been a long time since the last time we actually performed, danced in front of an audience? :) yay the feeling was there so its goood. though the dance is very very different from nymd's style and all. happy happy:)
haha after the performance we all went back to school to put the props and everything. we were getting so high on the bus back haha cheering nanyang cheers chinese high cheers hwachong cheers hahaha singing screaming for mad and stufff. so fun. :D when we reached school, kelvin the president of mad suddenly said that they had to do this tradition thing with the juniors and told us to follow them. haha we were damn scared la and it felt exciting at the same time. turned out they only got us to central plaza and we did like pushupsssss hahahhaa while kelvin attempted to scold us and look fierce but failed :D hahaha three cheers for seniors and mad!! <3
hmm so whatsup these few days man. watched huang cheng on saturday night with the class. the standard of the show was good. compared to some random chinese dramas we have all sat through rolling eyes. huang cheng was good. :D but the one show i really liked was only the first one actually. the props were damn good. and i liked that busstop! haha the actors for that show were pro. :D the backstage crew consisted of alot alot of people and basically the whole production used alot of manpower. and at the last part when it was going to end, they sang the hua chu song. :D and there were people among the audience who stood up and sang along! i kinda felt that hwachong spirit then:)) something like how it was when we all sang songs during the good old orientation days. then i thought of the boring studying days now and it felt so sad. oh welllllll. but still it was good to see hwachong people so united. i think a few more years down the road i would very much like to go see huang cheng again:)) saw juniors there! eileen aileen and vinette! haha they were there to fill up their chinese huo dong. :D haha the days when we need to do chinese huo dong feels so far away. (:
okay so the march holidays will be syf syf and syf and going back to nymd to help out with dance camp and for the juniors:)) want to see their syf piece!! :D then shopping and catching up with wanteng and gang and nymd-mad people whom some i feel rather detached from now. lots of catching up to go! and mug for math class test next week. AND THESE ARE THE STUFF WHICH SPOIL MY DAYS. sigh.
time flies zooms buzzzzzzzed. its MARCH! in dec 06 i totally couldnt imagine life right now and now its already like one quarter way into jc life. quite okay so far, things get fun and wild sometimes which is the fun thing about jc life. but now things get super boring and draining and all of us are kept alive by friends and people. :D i still cant stand the way things are sometimes then all of us will get super emo but i guess we cant do much about them can we. so just sit back and see how things go. haha basically school kinda sucks, dance sessions are tiring but the people make it so much better, and our seniors rock hardcore:))
